1. You don’t have to answer

smdeserClick on top title to open and scroll It seems that there is no limit to what some people ask you about your personal business.  Sometimes they hit a nerve or other times it is just annoying.

Questions about pregnancy, divorce, and money can be painful when things are rocky. I find the older I get the harder it is to get under my skin but I admit I hate nosy people. The best advice I ever got on how to deal with rude questions was to ignore them. The wise woman said, “Just because some asks a question; it doesn’t mean you have to answer it.”

Sure you can snap back with “none of your business “or a pointed “Why do you ask?” but why bother?   After all, apart from information most dirt-diggers want a reaction. They want to see you twist and turn with discomfort. So ignore them. Deflect, change the subject, smile and wander away. And smile. They don’t want to you smile.

Make time for the things you enjoy and the people you love because, my darlings that is truly where the sweet life lies.
