Trend alert: How to style a pixie cut

123JLJennifer Lawrence confessed her new pixie cut was the result of too many hair colour changes for movie rolls. But her look at the Golden Globes was adorable and a far cry from the matronly style she was seen sporting when she first cut her hair. Her style is now sleek, chic, and young. Her blond highlights show off the cut that is layered to flatter her face.

Celebrity stylist Jeff Gray dissected the look. Here is Jeff’s step by step how-to guide, as well as the products he recommends, to create volume and shape in shorter style:

First apply RUSK Designer Collection Thick Body and Texture Amplifier to towel-dried hair on the entire top and crown areas of your head.

Divide the hair into two sections with a tail comb from ear to ear directly over the top of the head. Clip the rear section out of the way.

Blow-dry the front section forward with the RUSK W8less Professional 2000-Watt Dryer and toward your favourite or most flattering side, leaving no definite part-line.
