The whitener is in the paste!

I am a fanatic about tooth whitening. Yellow teeth can make you look sloppy, unprofessional, and old. That is neither smart nor desirable in today’s competitive job market. But these days it is a snap to whiten teeth at home; the products really work.

So I was excited to try new Colgate Optic White toothpaste. It contains hydrogen peroxide, the ingredient in whitening strips and whitening mouth wash, and silica, to polish teeth. I like the combination. It leaves my mouth feeling super-clean and my teeth looking great. I already use a whitening paste with silica and a whitening mouth wash, but Colgate Optic White seemed to brighten up my smile even more — and it feels so fresh!

Colgate claims Colgate Optic White, “safely whitens teeth from the inside out, for whiter teeth in one week, with results that improve with daily use, each week. Based on a four week clinical study”.

I see results and love it already. At less than $4 a tube, I will continue to use it. You can try it and have a whiter smile too, when Colgate Optic White toothpaste goes on sale at the end the August!

Colgate has also developed the new 360º Optic White Toothbrush to go with the new toothpaste. It has a combination of three whitening cups in the center, and blue and white-striped polishing bristles. On the underside of the back of the brush-head there is a tongue and cheek cleaner. This is fine, if you like a manual brush. Personally, I will not use anything but my Sonicare electric toothbrush, except in a dire emergency. But if you are in the market for a manual brush, this looks like a good one.
