Beach in a bottle

Too Faced Royal Oil gives your skin a sexy shimmer that is perfect for summer’s skin-baring fashions. The rich hydrating bronze oil contains a combination of Mangosteen fruit extract and coconut oil that moisturizes and nourishes skin with anti-oxidants while imparting a subtle bronze glow and golden shimmer. It smells fabulous too, like a day at the beach.
The lotion spreads more easily on damp skin. Use just a little and work it in. Also let the oil dry before putting on clothes or lying down.
It costs $35.

Shimmer, don’t do a slow dissolve

It’s hard to keep your makeup looking fresh or sexy all day. The colours can run together, fade or do a slow dissolve.

For daytime, you can lighten up and go with minimum, if that’s you style. Wear a few coats of mascara, concealer, and a bit of bronzer or blush and gloss. I also like a light wash of shimmer across the lid to open the eye.
You need something more seductive for sultry nights. Shimmery eye shadow is perfect for now and it is a hot fall runway trend. Apply the shimmery shadows in natural shades for smoky eye.
I recently wore so Mary Kay’s Cream Eye Color on a steamy Atlanta day. It stayed put and looked fabulous until I took it off. The colours are pretty shimmers in Apricot Twist, Pale Blush, Glacier Grey, Beach Blonde and Iced Cocoa. You can apply a light wash for day, or build a serous smoky eye for night. They cost $13 each.
Try Mary Kay Cream Blush in Cranberry and Sheer Bliss for a pretty natural looking blush that won’t fade or streak. $13.
DolceDolce Tip
Use an oval make-up sponge to apple crème blush. Smile and apply it on the apples of your cheeks. Start with a small amount and blend it up and around in a C-curve. Keep the blush away from any crow’s feet and off the tops of your cheek bones.
