Austen fans will delight!

Amanda Grange has made a successful career out of "reimaging” Jane Austen’s popular tales. In Dear Mr. Darcy she retells Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy’s point of view.
 
The book is a collection of letters to and by Mr. Darcy. The book begins with a letter exhorting Darcy to hurry home. His father is dying. With his last breathe, Darcy’s father charges him with protecting his younger sister and marrying a “worthy woman.”
 
In Dear Mr. Darcy, Grange attempts to give readers insights into Darcy’s character and behavior as well as those of the other characters through lively correspondence.
 
This is amusing and romantic tale sure to please Austen fans.
 
Rebecca Smith’s Miss Jane Austen’s Guide to Modern Life’s Dilemma’s is the creation of Jane Austen’s great-great-great-great-great niece. Smith has delved through the vast trove of Jane Austen’s novels and letters to find "Jane's answers to common modern problems and etiquette questions. The results are amusing and enlightening. Jane and her heroine’s faced many of the same situations as women today. This quirky advice book is sure to delight Janeites.
 
Both of these books would make great gifts for any Jane Austen fan!
