How to have ageless hands!

Jane Park --The manicure mavenHands often do tell a woman’s age. So we have advice and tips from Julep founder and manicure maven, Jane Park, to helpkeep your hands young and lovely.

We adore Julep’s Glycolic Scrub.  Using a scrub daily helps to keep cuticles and hands smooth. Julep’s Nail Therapy Oil hydrates and protects dry, brittle, peeling nails. Always protect hands with an SPF of at least 30. Julep’s hand cream has an SPF 30 to protect against UVA and UVB rays.

These simple steps really do get results:

·        Remember that your hands can give away your age as much as your face, so use an SPF hand lotion daily, especially during the sunny summer months. If you’re getting a facial, ask your esthetician to use any extra product she might have on your hands.
·
·        Trying to keep that summer glow? Using Julep’s Glycolic Scrub before applying self-tanner evens skin texture and provides a smooth base for the formula to sink in, resulting in a more even color. Potent glycolic acid combined with apricot seeds provides powerful double exfoliation that leaves you feeling noticeably softer and looking younger after just one use.

·       Learning how to fix chips of all sizes will absolutely prolong the life of your manicure. For small dings, smoothing on nail polish remover with a clean fingertip can sometimes soften and spread the nail polish over the trouble spot, leaving your color coverage as good as new. For larger chips, you can try applying new nail polish to just the trouble spot, and then let it dry in three to five minutes. Then dab a little nail polish remover on with a clean finger to smooth out the new polish spot and marry it with the pre-existing polish.

·        Even though you’ve heard it before, it’s true! Reapplying a top coat every other day and using cuticle oil every day also dramatically improves the life of your polish.
