Rocker chic from the runway

Redken Creative Consultant Guido brought rocker chic to the ultra-modern Lanvin spring/summer 2012 show.

Gudio summed up the look: “I wanted to give the hair a wet, tough, street-ish look. It’s a nice juxtaposition with the sexy, bejeweled and glamorous clothing. The hair is overly-shiny with a lot of control, to give a tough look that’s very sexy but nonchalant at the same time.”
Create the look:
·        Roughly blow dry hair for a natural finish.
·        Spray the hair with shineflash 02 glistening mist to give the hair a lot of shine.
·        Finish with forceful 23 hairspray for some roughness and control.
Redken shineflash 02 glistening mist is one of my favourite products. I like to give my hair a little burst of it. It makes hair shine like a mirror, and it is absolutely weightless.

Here is the step-by-step process for you to create your own basic hair band:
·        Measure out about 2 inches of hair on your right side of your head, where your headband would normally be positioned.
·        Lay the piece flat across your head and secure underneath and behind your ear with a bobbie pin.
·        Repeat steps 1 and 2 with your left side of your hair.
·        Style the rest of your hair as desired.
How fabulous is that?
