Runway hair with a Sixties vibe

According to Guido, Redken Creative Consultant, "The look at Celine is a little bit Sixties inspired, girls with personality. I’m using lots of hair extensions and creating a deep side part swept over the face like a bang."
How-to get the look:

  • Apply a small amount of Redken guts 10 to the roots to give just a bit of lift to the crown of the head.
  • Create a very deep left side part so that hair covers the forehead almost like a bang, and clip hair on either side.
  • Tuck the right side of hair behind the ear and then pull back a piece of the hair over the ear.
  • Apply wax last 10 at the ends of the hair to create a little bit of texture and control.
  • Finish with Redken quick dry 18 instant finishing spray

    Rocker chic from the runway

Redken Creative Consultant Guido brought rocker chic to the ultra-modern Lanvin spring/summer 2012 show.

Gudio summed up the look: “I wanted to give the hair a wet, tough, street-ish look. It’s a nice juxtaposition with the sexy, bejeweled and glamorous clothing. The hair is overly-shiny with a lot of control, to give a tough look that’s very sexy but nonchalant at the same time.”

    Create the look:
    ·        Roughly blow dry hair for a natural finish.
    ·        Spray the hair with shineflash 02 glistening mist to give the hair a lot of shine.
    ·        Finish with forceful 23 hairspray for some roughness and control.

Redken shineflash 02 glistening mist is one of my favourite products. I like to give my hair a little burst of it. It makes hair shine like a mirror, and it is absolutely weightless.
