Dakota Johnson looked chic and sexy in her Chanel mini-dress at this year’s Met Gala.

Her long wavy bob, created by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, was a stylish change from star’s usual long hair. This chic look is a major trend for spring and summer.

It is a quick way to take your look from cute-casual to sexy-chic.

Here are Jen Atkin’s exact steps to help you recreate the look:

Jen created this look by first prepping Dakota’s wet hair with KMS California ADDVOLUME volumizing spray to provide heat protection and boost volume in her hair.

She then scrunched sections of the hair and clipped with duckbill clips all around her head to create an S-shaped pattern and blew the hair dry with a GHD dryer using her fingers while keeping the clips intact.

Afterwards, she removed the clips and curled 1one-inch sections of hair, alternating between a one-inch flat iron to create waves and a one and 1.25-inch GHD curling iron, while keeping the ends straight.

Next, she rubbed KMS California HAIRPLAY messing creme between each section.

Jen finished the look by misting KMS California FREESHAPE 2-in-1 styling and finishing spray over the hair for lasting hold and added shine.
