Using scent to seduce and beguile is nothing new. To conquer young Marc Antony, Cleopatra sailed to the ancient Egyptian city of Tarsus on a barge full of flowers, scented with exotic perfumes. Modern perfumers have been attempting to refine the science of scent and seduction ever since.

Aging is associated with smell for many reasons. Think about how many of us recall the smell of a grandparent’s home or associate old ladies with the scent of lavender or lilacs. Women know that hormonal changes are reflected in personal scent. But it seems there maybe more to it than that. According to a study in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, as women and men age, the body produces a chemical known as "noneal" which occurs as a result of the chemical breakdown of a fatty acid in the skin. This process can cause an unpleasant greasy odor that experts say is the natural "body odor" of aging. This type of scent rarely occurs in people in their 20s and 30s, but can become quiet prominent around the age of 40.

According to its creators, Ageless Fantasy does not simply try to cover up the smell of older skin, but rather neutralize it. “The formula is based on natural bi-chemistry. This psycho-stimulant elixir was created with one goal in mind: to make you smell younger.”

Does it work? I’m not sure, nor am I sure everyone over 40 has an issue with their personal scent. But Ageless Fantasy smells fabulous – very flirty and sexy.
Can it make you seem younger? Perhaps. The sense of smell is powerful. Scent evokes strong memories and passions. According to scientists, we may be unconscious of how we process and utilize scent, or how it affects mood and reactions. But we feel its influence all the time. Mothers can sniff out their infants. Women can tell by scent if a man’s genes will qualify him as a mate. It has also been scientifically proven that many people can detect even faint aromas of fear and illness. And darlings, Cleopatra was about six years older than Marc Antony when she stepped off the perfumed barge.

I enjoy wearing the scent with its blend of fruity grapefruit and melon mixed with sexy jasmine. It’s light, so perfect for the coming warm weather. It also generates unsolicited compliments – a must for any fragrance in my book.

I am sure women of all ages will adore its fresh and flirty scent.
