1. Trend alert: Strobing

    Beyoncé glows – She strobes!

“Strobing” is the name for the technique that makeup artists and stars like Beyoncé, Gigi Hadid, and Kim Kardashian use to get that sexy look you see in all their photos on Instagram and Twitter. The look is easier and sexier than contouring, which can look too heavy for every day. (Image: Parkwood)

Strobing focuses on highlighting. Shadows are minimized and you glow. Janeena Billera, glō-minerals National Makeup Artist, says, “A shimmer-brick_gleam_14_1cream or liquid highlighter applied on the highpoints of the face gives a more natural finished glow.”

Janeena Billera uses See Beyoncé in a recent Instagram post of herself, #Flawless, as an example. She explained you can see how her facial features are emphasized as light reflects off her cheeks and brows.
